PARTY LOCATIONS
A Craft Party is a great way to get together with friends and family and be creative together while celebrating a special event. Craft Parties are not only fun entertainment for guests, but guests participate in making their own party favors to take home.
A Craft Party can be hosted in your home, a venue of your choice, or in one of our associated venues.
HOST A PARTY AT OUR SHOP IN MONTCLAIR
A seated craft activity where everyone makes a craft together. After the activity is finished the table is cleared and participants can have cake, pizza, or other treat.
HOW A CRAFT PARTY AT OUR SHOP WORKS

Host of the party is responsible for providing food, utensils, napkins, tablecloth, plates, and any other things needed for decoration or the snack portion of the party.

Party host is allowed to come 1 hour before the party time to decorate the room. Furniture and existing shelves cannot be moved. All decorations and food must be removed after the party.

All Craft Parties that are In Person require a group of 8 participants or more. For parties where young children under the age of 4 are assisted by an adult they count as one participant.

There is a limit of 12 participants for this option due to the limited size of the room. This doesn't include parents and caregivers. Parents and Caregivers are welcome to drop off children for the event or they hang out in the shop area during the duration of the activity. A parent or caregiver may only stay if the participant requires assistance to participate in the activity.
HOST A CRAFT PARTY IN YOUR BACKYARD
Hosting a craft party in your backyard is a fun way to host a large group of people without having to book a venue. We provide the craft activity and instructor. Party hosts must have tables and chairs available for activity or inquire about our table and chair options. There is a one travel $50 fee for backyard parties.

Be sure your backyard is suitable for an outdoor event. We recommend a backyard that has flat and even ground and is spacious. If your event is taking place in the evening will you have adequate light? If you decide to have your event at a park or other outdoor public space you are responsible for obtaining any permits or permissions to utilize the space.

The host of the party is responsible for providing tables and chairs for the activity and their guests. We recommend choosing an activity that doesn't require access to electricity or indoor appliances unless the host has accommodations. If you need tables and chairs for your event we offer table and chair rentals.

All Craft Activates that are In Person require a group of 8 participants or more. For parties where young children under the age of 4 are assisted by an adult they count as one participant.

There is a one time $50 travel fee for any Craft Party that is hosted at your backyard or outdoor space.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A "IRL" CRAFT PARTY?
All Craft Parties include craft materials, tools, and instructor. The teacher may request access to electricity or appliances if necessary to conduct class. You will be informed upon booking the class what participants will need access to.
The instructor will set up the activity area before the start time of the activity and cleanup after the activity is completed. If the host requested table or chair rentals those will be set up before the teacher's arrival and picked up after the activity's completion.
Most craft activities are between 1 to 1.5 hours in duration. Most craft activities require 30 minutes to an hour to set up and clean up.
HOST A VIRTUAL CRAFT PARTY
Virtual Craft Parties are a great way to get together with friends and family near and far and be creative together. You can have a party with your relatives and friends from across the street, across the country, or across the world! We can ship materials and supplies to you and your guests or have them available for pickup at our Montclair store.
HOW A VIRTUAL PARTY WORKS

We host our Virtual Craft Activities on Zoom. We highly recommend informing your party guests so they can install the latest version of Zoom and be sure that their computer or smart device can run the program. For full enjoyment of the Craft Activity we highly recommend that guests utilize video and audio.

Once your party is booked we will coordinate setting up the Zoom Link and arranging the DIY Kits for pick up or shipping. The party host will be sent the Zoom link and the tracking numbers of the DIY Kits. DIY Kits are shipped out one week prior to the date of the party or earlier. We will keep the host updated of any perceived shipping delays. During peak holiday seasons or for international shipping we recommend booking your party 3 weeks in advance to avoid delays.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A VIRTUAL CRAFT PARTY?
All Virtual Craft Parties include a DIY Kit and video stream with a live instructor.
Select Craft activities may require tools that are not included with the DIY Kit. During the booking process you will be informed if a Craft Activity requires tools, utensils or additional household items. Select Craft activities may require the use of, for example, mixing bowls, access to a microwave, etc.
All Virtual Craft Parties will have a Moderator present to supervise the class, provide technical support and customer service.
The host can request that the Virtual Party can be recorded for participants who are unable to attend the class. Recorded sessions are uploaded to a video sharing site. From there a unique link is generated that can be shared with participants of the party only. Recorded content is deleted two weeks after the event date.
