Hi-FiBar was made by Melanie for her mom who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year. After unable to find blood sugar healthy snack from the current sugar packed snack market, Melanie used her training and experience in the food science to develop Hi-FiBar herself. Hi-FiBar uses dietary fiber instead of syrup to bind the nuts, seeds and dry fruits together, which makes it high fiber, high protein and low carbs. It is also vegan, gluten and soy free.
