Francesca has always been fascinated with business. At the age of five she created her first entrepreneurial endeavor. When her grandparents came for visits she would sell them rocks from their property, and business was booming! From there, she and her siblings used to play a game called "Store" where they would set up a display of unwanted items for purchase. Each carried pennies, nickels, and dimes from room to room where her bargained (bantered) about a fair price. These simple beginnings have instilled a desire to learn more about the fundamentals of business.
As she grew, Francesca developed a passion for clay and began by gifting her creations to family members and friends. Her clay became a business and escalated in her junior year, when she set up at her first vendor event.
Currently she is running a successful small business, Amalia's, featuring unique clay creations. Over the past holiday season she sold over one thousand dollars of artwork. Her family has supported her passion for both the arts and business, and is ecstatic to further develop her skills and knowledge.
