Learn how to sew! In this class you will get your hand sewing fundamentals and make a basic project. This class is also a great way to learn how to repair your own clothing. Class is appropriate for ages 8 and up. Project choices are: Tote Bag, Apron, or Pillowcase

Have a sewing machine and want to learn how to use it? In Sewing Machine Basics you will learn how to set up your machine, how to use it, and how to create a project. ​Class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.

Give your fashion an added flair by learning embroidery. Learn about materials and tools needed to make a beautiful embroidered design. A variety of beginner stitches will be taught. ​Class is appropriate for ages 9 and up.

Want to learn how to crochet, sew, or knit? With in-person and online crochet & fiber art classes from The Eclectic Chic Boutique, you will receive professional instruction from qualified instructors to hone your existing skills or learn a new one! The Eclectic Chic Boutique offers classes for adult and child hobbyists of all skill levels.

The classes we currently have available cover crochet, knitting, sewing, embroidery, and ribbon wreaths. These workshops are offered in-person at our store in Montclair, NJ and also virtually. If you're looking for a pandemic hobby, you don't have to choose between your health and personal fulfillment. Get the instruction you want with all of your materials provided, or you can opt for the shopping list if you'd like to purchase your supplies yourself.

You don't need to be a quilter or a knitter to learn new skills! Come join our knitting and crochet classes for hands-on lessons on using hook-and-loop tape, ribbon, thread, and yarn to create your own handmade accessories. In addition to learning new crafts, you'll also learn about the process of creating crafts from start to finish. You will have the opportunity to go home with your completed project tailor-made for you or a special someone in your life.

Since we are located in Montclair, NJ we are centrally located for those in the tri-state area who might just be just a short drive away or for those who want to make a day trip and enjoy the Garden State along with learning a new skill along the way! We are just 30 minutes outside NYC in downtown Montclair which is nestled between Clifton, Little Falls, Cedar Grove and Verona and just minutes off the Garden State Parkway and Bloomfield, Nutley and Passaic as well as we are just 10 minutes from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair and can be easily reached via mass transit from all local NJ towns.
