Classes that are 7 participants or less must be paid in full up front to book. For Virtual Classes that are 7 participants or less there is a $8 shipping fee for each DIY Kit shipped. For Virtual Classes that are 8 participants or more shipping is free.
We except cash or electronic payments using Credit Card, Debit Card, or ACH. We do not accept personal checks. If a payment fails the Host is informed and must remedy the payment in order for the class to be conducted. Failure to pay will result in the class being canceled. If the class balance isn't paid one week after the event has been completed, The Eclectic Chic Boutique reserves the right to run the form of payment that was saved to the Host's account.
Class cancelation notice must be given by the host in the form of an email or phone call.
In Person Classes that are canceled one week in advance are eligible for a full refund. In Person Classes that are canceled 72 hours in advance are eligible for a 50% refund. In Person Classes that are canceled 24 hours prior no refund is given. For In Person Classes that are held at one of our associated venues, cancelations are subject to the venues in house policies.
For Virtual and Hybrid Classes, the host in not entitled to a refund of DIY Kits have already shipped and are in transit.
The Eclectic Chic Boutique reserves the right to cancel a party for any reason should we feel that the we are unable to fulfill the party or due to disputes with the host or venue. The Host is eligible to a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
If a participant does not attend a class, regardless of it being in person or virtual, without prior notification of cancelation or rescheduling, the host is not entitled to a refund. Participants who are unable to attend a scheduled class must notify their host. The host is responsible for updating The Eclectic Chic Boutique on attendance should they wish it to be reflected on their invoice. For Virtual classes, if a host makes adjustments after DIY Kits have been shipped, the host is not entitled to a refund.
To reschedule your class, the host must submit a reschedule request in the form of an email or phone call. A minimum of 1 week notice must be given. Classes are allowed one reschedule. If a class is rescheduled more than once, the class is subject to a $25 reschedule fee for each instance of rescheduling. For classes that are held at one of our associated venues, reschedules are subject to the venues in house policies. If a Virtual class needs to be rescheduled due to DIY Kit shipping being delayed no reschedule fee will be applied.
Host is responsible for coordinating travel for participants of an in person class. We recommend checking out Parking Options on the Montclair Center BID website. During peak hours we recommend purchasing a Parking Pass so that participants can park in permit spaces around town.
DIY KITS FOR VIRTUAL Classes
Hosts are responsible for providing accurate shipping information for their guests. We verify addresses before shipping to ensure accuracy. If an address is unable to be verified we inform the host. If the host confirms that the address is correct we can override the verification. Host will be provided with tracking information.
We do our best to get kits shipped in a timely manner. During peak holiday seasons we ask hosts to consider expedited shipping when possible. Expedited shipping will incur additional fees. In the event a kit is returned for insufficient address, the host is responsible for additional shipping fees to ship the kit out again. In the event a kit is "lost" or is unable to be tracked, the host can request a replacement kit for an additional fee.
