​WHO MAKES YOUR CBD AND HEMP PRODUCTS?
Our CBD and Hemp products are provided to us my local makers. Each product listed will state what source the CBD or Hemp is derived from.
​WHAT IS CBD AND THC? WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are the two active ingredients found in Hemp, and other plants in the same genus. The exact effects these chemicals produce in the human body requires a bit of biological background information to understand, but the essential explanation is: They trigger a neuro-hormonal ‘domino effect’ that results in your brain ‘turning down the volume’ on it’s stress level, and encouraging the brain to activate the systems your body uses to repair and maintain itself. The EXTREMELY short explanation: It calms you down and helps you feel better.

As for the difference between the two: chemically they are very similar, but essentially THC is psychoactive (meaning it gets you “High”) while CBD isn’t. Legally speaking, hemp with THC levels above 0.3% requires a prescription to purchase in the state of New Jersey, while CBD does not require a prescription. Hemp with THC levels 0.3% or lower also does not require a prescription. 
Is Hemp the same as Cannabis? 
​Hemp and Cannabis are different breeds of the same plant, in the same way Beagles and Terriers are different breeds of Dog. The key difference between Hemp and Cannabis is that Hemp contains CBD, but practically no THC. (0.30% THC, which is the current legal definition)
How can I take CBD?
Your options for taking CBD depend on what form it’s in. The pure oils can either be rubbed into the skin for a targeted effect, or taken sublingually for a whole-body effect. The dried plant can either be eaten or smoked, and the salve is designed to be rubbed topically into the skin.

The method you select will depend on desired effect and personal preference. For stress relief, ingesting it is better for long term relief, and smoking it is better for immediate relief. For pain, rubbing it on is better for targeted relief, while smoking or ingesting is better for internal or full-body relief. For recreational use, smoking or ingesting are both perfectly viable options. The difference is: When ingested, the effect starts in your body and spreads to your head. When smoked, the effect starts in your head and spreads to your body.

What product should I take for Pain or Headaches?
That depends on what Type of pain you have. For Muscle or Joint pain we recommend using a topical salve. For Headaches we recommend our CBD Temple Balm. For more general or internal pains, we recommend either our smokable or indigestible products. (Smokable for instant relief, indigestible for long-term relief). Smokables are NOT recommended to treat chest pain.

What product should I take for Sleep?
​We recommend an using either tincture drops, tea blend, or CBD-infused chocolate or gummies rather than a smokable, and that you take it an hour before going to sleep. We carry some CBD products that are blended with Melatonin, a natural hormone the body uses to regulate sleep cycles. Be aware, CBD may cause drowsiness, be sure to use the recommended dosage on the label.

What product should I take for Stress or Anxiety?
​Treating emotional distress is one of the most effective uses of CBD, and any one of our smokable or ingestible products can help provide relief. We can help you narrow down which product may be best suited for your needs.

If you are currently taking medications or supplements to manage stress, anxiety, or depression, we recommend you consult your physician or health care professional before adding CBD to your regiment.
Can I take CBD if I am pregnant or nursing?
​So far, no major scientific studies have been conducted on the effects that CBD has on pregnant or nursing mothers. We’ll update this entry when further research is made available. Regardless, we recommend that you consult your physician or health care professional before taking CBD while you are pregnant or nursing.  
Is CBD good for my skin?
​According to current research: Yes. CBD is a powerful natural Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory, combating Aging and Inflammation. To use CBD as part of your beauty regiment, we recommend our CBD infused body butters and facial toners.

What Is Delta-8?

​Delta-8 THC is a psychoactive compound similar to delta-9 THC. Delta-9 THC is a compound in the cannabis plant that produces the "high" that some people are looking for. 

Although delta-8 is the same as delta-9 THC, it has a slightly different chemical structure, making it less effective than regular marijuana but still effective enough to produce euphoria, relaxation, and potential pain relief as well as it will give most people a very good night's sleep when used near bedtime.
